According to the instructions of ministry of higher education and scientific research and  University of Anbar presidency and commitment in the necessity to enable the role of social media and scientific platform in the electronic education, university of Anbar / college of Agriculture /Department of Horticulture in cooperation with ministry of higher education and scientific research / office of research and development /held a workshop about the project of planting million trees entitled " Iraqi Universities are Green Areas and Carbon Traps to Achieve Iraq View 2030 in Sustainable Environment  "

The workshop was attended by the agent of minister of higher education and scientific research Dr. Fouad Qasim Mohammed and our university president Prof. Khalid Batal Al Najm and his scientific assistant Prof. Mushtaq Talib Al Nidah and some of universities presidents and their assistant in addition to the deans of Agriculture colleges in Iraq and huge number of teaching staff and researchers

* The workshop discussed the agenda of this great project and what it will produce to improve the environmental situation in Iraq and to spread the culture of planting trees in order to combat decertification and asserted to support food security in our loving country espcially in corona virus crisis

The recommendations of the workshop:

* Depending on suitable types of plants that growing in local environment and evaluating the imprted plants and specifying the areas that could succeed in them from north to south

* Openess to the states offices which are especilized in combat decertification (Center of Combat Decertification - University of Anbar and the Office of Decertification Oases in Anbar Province) in order to unify the efforts to achieve goals of the project in finding a security environment
