As part of the Study in Iraq initiative, the College of Agriculture at Anbar University discusses a master's thesis on soybeans.
In support of the scientific and research process and within the framework of the "Study in Iraq" initiative launched by His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, which aims to attract Arab students and researchers to study at Iraqi universities, and in the presence of the esteemed Professor Dr. Mushtaq Talib Al-Nida, President of Anbar University, the College of Agriculture discussed this morning the master's thesis entitled "The Effect of the Interaction Between Mycorrhizal Fungi, Phosphate Rock, and Coconut Oil Spraying on the Growth and Yield of Soybeans" by the student Qamar Ahmed Mohammed Al-Haddad, Syrian Arab Republic.

The study aimed to evaluate the effect of the interaction between mycorrhizal fungi, phosphate rock, and coconut sap spraying on the growth and productivity of soybeans. The goal was to improve nutrient utilization efficiency and increase yield using natural and environmentally safe inputs. The session witnessed an extensive scientific discussion during which the discussion committee praised the great effort made by the student in preparing the thesis and commended its scientific content and results. At the end of the discussion, based on the accurate scientific evaluation, the committee recommended accepting the thesis with a satisfactory grade, with some corrections requested from the student to meet the academic requirements. The esteemed University President praised the role played by the College of Agriculture in supporting and making the Study in Iraq initiative a success, stressing that this initiative represents a strategic step in the academic openness of Iraqi universities to the Arab and international environment and reflects the advanced scientific level reached by national universities, foremost among which is the University of Anbar. His Excellency explained that the University of Anbar strives to enhance its academic environment and make it attractive to students and researchers from various countries by providing scientific and research capabilities, facilitating administrative procedures, and offering academic support to incoming students to ensure an integrated and distinguished educational experience. He added that the university's hosting of students from various Arab nationalities, including Syrian student Qamar Ahmed Mohammed Al-Haddad, is clear evidence of the growing confidence in the academic and research level provided by the university. He emphasized that the university administration continues to support twinning and academic exchange programs and strengthen academic relations with educational institutions in sister countries. Congratulations to the student on this academic achievement.
