College of Agriculture at the University of Anbar discussed this morning, master’s thesis Titled Response of Buckthorn transplants, of Al-tafahi cultivar, to foliar application with chelated iron and algae extract, by student Hajar Ismail Hashash, Department of Horticulture and Landscaping. The thesis aimed at improving the vegetative growth of transplants and accelerating the building of a strong structure by spraying them with chelated iron and marine algae extract.

The researcher recommended spraying chelated iron with concentrations higher than the concentrations used in the experiment because it led to a positive response in growth indicators without reaching the degree of inhibition .

 After extensive discussion by the committee members, the theses was accepted after making the corrections recommended by the discussion committee congratulation to the student and the supervisor.
