A scientific visit by students of the Plant Protection Department to the Desert Studies Center

The Plant Protection Department at the College of Agriculture, under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Amira Ahmed Hamid, organized a scientific visit for its students to the Desert Studies Center – Natural History Museum at Anbar University. This visit was part of the applied activities aimed at enhancing students' practical skills and connecting theoretical concepts with field applications.

During the visit, the students learned about the center's main research departments and the technologies used in studying desert environments and ways to utilize their natural resources. They also received a detailed explanation from the specialists about ongoing research projects and their importance in serving sustainable development.

The visit included a field tour to observe applied models and implemented experiments, which contributed to developing the students' scientific skills and increasing their awareness of the importance of environmental studies.

At the end of the visit, the students expressed their gratitude to the center's administration for their warm welcome and scientific cooperation, emphasizing the importance of such visits in supporting their educational journey.
