As part of the activities of Entrepreneurial Week 2024, the Department of Field Crops at the College of Agriculture, University of Anbar, held a scientific workshop titled (Millet Crop: A Pillar of Food Security and Sustainable Development) The workshop included discussions on the importance of millet as a strategic crop contributing to food security and its role in sustainable development amidst current environmental and economic challenges. The workshop was presented by Prof. Dr. Moayad Hadi Ismail from the Department of Field Crops, who reviewed the latest studies and innovations related to the cultivation and production of millet. He highlighted its significance in improving agricultural productivity and enhancing the competitiveness of farmers.
