Entrepreneurial Week / Department of Food Science

 

As part of the activities of Entrepreneurial Week at the College of Agriculture, the Department of Food Science organized a distinguished exhibition showcasing a wide range of food products prepared by both students and faculty members. The exhibits included various food items, including therapeutic products that combine health benefits with scientific innovation. The exhibition was honored by the opening ceremony led by Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Talib Al-Nada, the esteemed President of the University, and attended by Prof. Dr. Idham Ali Abdul, the esteemed Dean of the College. During the opening, the University President delivered a speech in which he praised the efforts of the organizers and emphasized the importance of such activities in advancing academic education and strengthening the link between theoretical knowledge and practical application….The exhibition began with a guided tour for visitors, during which participating students and faculty members provided detailed explanations about each product, starting from its production stages, through the nutritional components used, to the health benefits it can offer to consumers.
