
As part of the academic curriculum requirements for graduate students for the academic year 2024-2025, the Department of Soil Science and Water Resources at our college organized two seminars addressing distinctive scientific topics. Ph.D. student Raed Nouri Thamil presented a seminar titled (Desertification Sensitivity and Environmental Challenges) during which he discussed the major environmental issues resulting from desertification and methods for addressing them. Another seminar was delivered by the same Ph.D. student, titled "The Role of Zeolite in Enhancing the Availability of Phosphorus," where he explored the role of this material in improving soil fertility and boosting agricultural productivity.
