The College of Agriculture celebrates one of its professors
After a lifetime of giving and tireless efforts, and out of gratitude and appreciation, and with pride and honor, and with all the love and appreciation that words cannot express, Professor Dr. Adham Ali Abd, the esteemed Dean of the College, presented, on his behalf and on behalf of the College's staff, the College of Agriculture shield to Professor Dr. Jamal Saleh Hamoud on the occasion of his retirement. This comes after a career filled with giving and excellence throughout his tenure at our College, which was characterized by academic, intellectual, and administrative contributions, and the fulfillment of the academic mission with diligence and dedication.
In a speech delivered during the honoring ceremony, the esteemed Dean of the College said:
I extend my sincere praise, thanks, and gratitude to one of the pillars of the College of Agriculture, who devoted his life to serving science, students, and the institution, leaving a clear mark in the fields of education, research, and administration.... Dr. Jamal was not only a professor, but a role model, a mentor, and a big brother, and the history of the College will record this honorable career with pride and honor. The ceremony was attended by Professor Osama Hussein Mahdi and a number of the department's faculty members, who expressed their deep appreciation and gratitude to Dr. Jamal, wishing him continued health and a successful life after retirement.
