The College of Agriculture organizes a scientific workshop

In implementation of the directives of the esteemed President of Anbar University regarding the activation of urban agriculture concepts within the university's departments... and in the presence of Professor Dr. Athir Anwar Sharif, the esteemed Assistant President of the University for Administrative Affairs... the College of Agriculture organized a scientific workshop entitled (The Role of Urban Agriculture and Suitable Plants)... The workshop was opened with a welcoming speech delivered by Professor Dr. Adham Ali Abd, the esteemed Dean of the College of Agriculture, in which he welcomed the honorable attendees, emphasizing the importance of urban agriculture as an effective tool for enhancing green spaces and improving the quality of the environment within the university campus... He also pointed out in his speech the pioneering role played by the College of Agriculture in supporting and developing environmental and scientific initiatives, pointing out the necessity of employing techniques for coordinating indoor ornamental plants to improve the aesthetic and functional aspects of university buildings... Following that, the scientific sessions began, during which the lecturers presented their research and applied presentations on urban agriculture techniques and their impact on improving the quality of life within educational environments... The workshop presented applied models from local and international experiences in urban agriculture, in addition to fruitful discussions among the participants on the mechanisms for activating this concept within the university facilities And state institutions... The workshop was attended by the Director of the Desert Studies Center, along with a number of assistant deans of colleges for administrative affairs and officials of the specialized agricultural units at Anbar University... At the conclusion of the workshop, the attendees emphasized the importance of continuing such scientific activities that contribute to the development of agricultural work and achieving sustainable development, praising the role of the College of Agriculture in adopting initiatives that enhance integration between science and application.
