Professor Dr. Adham Ali Abd, Dean of the College of Agriculture, University of Anbar, received in his office today a delegation from the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences, University of Duhok, within the framework of strengthening scientific and academic cooperation between the two universities and expanding areas of research and training partnership. At the beginning of the meeting, the Dean welcomed the guest delegation, appreciating this visit, which comes in line with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research aimed at enhancing cooperation between Iraqi universities and exchanging experiences. During the meeting, a number of important topics were discussed, including joint supervision of postgraduate students to develop scientific research with an applied dimension, organizing training and scientific workshops between the two colleges to serve the development of students and researchers' skills, and activating the visiting professor program to exchange academic experiences between the two universities' faculty members. The visit also included a field tour of the college's laboratories and departments, during which the delegation was briefed on the available capabilities in the field of scientific research and the modern laboratory equipment that supports the college's progress in serving the agricultural sector. During the discussion, the necessary plans and preparatory procedures for holding the fourth joint agricultural conference between the two universities were addressed, which is scheduled to highlight the latest developments in the fields of sustainable agriculture. And natural resources management... At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides emphasized the importance of continuing such scientific visits, given their impact in opening new horizons for joint cooperation, exchanging successful experiences, and developing academic and research work to serve society and the agricultural sector in Iraq.
